Do Not Sell My Personal Information

As a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provides you with the right to opt out of the “sale” of your Personal Information. JM Control respects your privacy and is committed to fulfilling the rights granted by the CCPA. You can find a more detailed description of how we collect, use, and share the Personal Information of California residents in our Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of this notice, “Personal Information” is defined as provided in the CCPA and does not include information exempted from the scope of the CCPA. JM Control generally does not directly sell your Personal Information in the traditional sense (i.e., for money). However, like many companies, we use services that help deliver interest-based ads to you and may transfer Personal Information to business partners for their use. Making Personal Information (such as online identifiers or browsing activity) available to these companies may be considered a “sale” under the CCPA.

After you have sent the email, please be aware that JM Control may contact you to collect additional information regarding your request, confirm your email address, and/or verify your identity. By sending this email, you are affirming that the information you provide is accurate.

Please note that some transfers of your Personal Information may not be considered “sales” and certain exemptions may apply under the CCPA. Your selection does not affect other sharing of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You will continue to see some advertising, regardless of your selection.

Additional CCPA Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal data (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request by writing to us at info@jm-control.com

Non-California Residents

This notice and the rights described herein apply only to California residents. A California resident is a natural person who resides in California, even if the person is temporarily outside of the state.

Exceptions to the Right to Opt-Out

There are certain exceptions to the right to opt-out. We may refuse your opt-out request if a sale or collection is necessary for JM Control to comply with legal obligations, exercise legal claims or rights, or defend legal claims; or if the personal information is certain medical information, consumer credit reporting information, or other types of information exempt from the CCPA. Please see Civil Code section 1798.145 for more exceptions.
